To be more specific, each player constructs a grid of dice on their player board to create a stained glass window. There are limitations on what color or shade (value) of die can be used on each board. It is forbidden to arrange dice of the same hue or shade adjacent to one another.
In each round, the starting player rotates and comes back around after the final player chooses two dice. The dice are drafted in player order. Each game has different scoring depending on different placement patterns and combinations, plus extra points for using dark hues of a specific concealed goal color.
By using skill tokens, you can purchase special tools that will assist you in breaking the rules; but, once a tool is utilized, additional skill tokens are needed for other players to use it.

Adrian Adamescu and Daryl Andrews created this abstract family game, which is played over ten rounds. Players take turns drafting dice from a central pool and placing them on their beautifully drawn player boards’ window grids. During set-up, players receive two window cards, from which they select a window design from four potential sides. Each side offers a unique dice placement choice and varies in difficulty.
Every round, the first player will roll one extra die in addition to drawing two dice for each participant (for a three-person game, this would be seven dice). After selecting a die to add to their window, they will proceed with the drafting in a clockwise manner until the final player has finished. At that point, the drafting direction changes to an anti-clockwise manner, ending with the first player having a choice between two dice.
According to the placement rules, a new die must be placed next to an existing set of dice, either diagonally or orthogonally. Additionally, numbers with the same value or color of dice are never permitted to be seated next to one another orthogonally. This is a charming small unique problem that some people frequently liken to the well-known Sudoku number-placement game.
Each game begins with the drawing of three public objectives, which, if met, can award players bonus points.
