Consulting Detective Sherlock Holmes

Consulting Detective Sherlock Holmes

Have you ever wanted to follow Sherlock Holmes around Victorian London’s streets as he looks for Professor Moriarty? To look for Sumatra’s gigantic rat on the docks? Seeing the fog roll in and hearing Holmes call out, “Come, Watson, come!” as one walks up Baker Street “A game is underway!” You can now!

You can go into the opium den underneath the Bar of Gold, but watch out—Colonel Sebastian Moran might be hiding there somewhere. This demanding and educational game allows you to experience the mystery and thrill of Holmes’ London. As the player, you will pit your logical skills against those of your rivals and Sherlock Holmes, the ultimate investigator.

In Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective, you take on the task of unraveling a mystery and following the trail of evidence through the mansions and alleyways of nineteenth-century London. To find a solution, you will speak with potential suspects, look for hints in the media, and compile the information.

Why were the two lions in Hyde Park killed? Who is in charge of the National Gallery’s lost paintings? Why and by whom was Oswald Mason murdered? These are just a handful of the scenarios that will test your creativity and reasoning skills.

This is a test of your cerebral prowess rather than a board game with dice or luck. To recreate the atmosphere of that bygone era, the game has undergone extensive research for realism in both Victorian and Holmesian themes.

For one to eight players, Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective is a cooperative crime-solving and deduction game. Together, you investigate clues, speak with witnesses, peruse the local press, and pursue leads to solve the ten crimes at hand.

Using as few hints as possible, your objective is to put out a theory that is as near to the actual events as feasible. If you can accomplish it quicker than Holmes himself, you’ll also receive extra plaudits.

It’s only very loosely a board game since most of the fun is in figuring out clues, finding information, and speculating with other investigators.

There is a lot to get your teeth stuck into, including a map to monitor the whereabouts of important characters, press clippings to examine, and a lengthy address book of people to question.

You’ve discovered your ideal game if you enjoy solving complex murder mysteries and taking on difficult crimes. There is nothing ordinary about Sherlock Holmes: The Thames Murders board game. To follow the trail of evidence through the gloomy alleys of nineteenth-century London, you will need to put yourself in the shoes of the best detectives in the game. You never know what you will deal with next, with ten distinct cases included.

Every participant will be a part of the Baker Street Regulars, the unofficial group that helps Sherlock Holmes unravel his astounding riddles. Players will alternately take on the role of lead investigator for each case. Because this is a cooperative game, group decisions are made by the lead investigator. This game features a fantastic map of London as well as newspapers with clever and cunning jokes for each case. Every case is presented to capture your attention and hold it throughout.

The game requires you to answer the questions properly to win, and you should aim for at least 100 points. But the real test is to outsmart Sherlock Holmes, which won’t be simple!
